Galfar Engineering & Contracting SAOG was established in 1972 and has since grown to be among the largest publicly listed companies in Oman and one of the largest construction companies in the Middle East.

The Energy & Industrial Unit focuses on engineering, construction, and procurements related to Oil and Gas Plants for both upstream and downstream, Petrochemical Plants, Manufacturing Plants, Industrial Plants, Power Generation, and power grids as transmission and distribution.
Civil & Environmental
The Civil & Environmental Unit
focuses on the engineering, construction and procurement related to landmark buildings,
and MEP services, wastewater
treatment plants & networks
and Operation & maintenance of above facilities.
Infrastructure
The Infrastructure Unit has
capabilities to deliver projects in roads, bridges, airports, seaports, dams, water treatment plants, water network projects as EPC or C including operation & maintenance.
